Depth of Field April 27, 2010

Entering the Fold Test I’m trying to get more depth of field from this Canon EFS 18-55mm lens. I’ve jacked the aperture up to a ridiculous f/18 with a shutter speed of 1 second. ISO is set to 400. I think the shallow depth of field is inevitable while using such small figures.  The shallow depth does remind me of more archaic image acquisition technologies.
